Nevada Chapter

The Nevada Chapter of WESTOP represents 23 TRIO/Educational Equity programs throughout the state. The Nevada Chapter is a network of educational equity personnel that support the purpose and objective of the Western Association of Educational Opportunity Personnel (WESTOP).

Mission

To create and develop educational professionals who are able to advocate and provide educational opportunities for those who are underserved.

Northern California Chapter (NorCal)

The Northern California Chapter of WESTOP is a network of educational equity personnel that support the purpose and objective of the Western Association of Educational Opportunity Personnel (WESTOP).  WESTOP is a regional network of members who promote and advocate access to educational opportunities on behalf of low-income, first-generation students, and those with disabilities.

Central California Chapter (CenCal)

The CenCal Chapter of WESTOP represents over 35 TRIO/Educational Equity programs throughout Central California. The CenCal Chapter is a network of members interested in furthering access for educational opportunities for economically and educationally disadvantaged persons and persons with disabilities by enhancing members professional development and equipping members with the right tools necessary in promoting institutional approaches at the local level and furthering policies at both the state and federal level which would advance educational equity. The CenCal Chapter represents over 35 TRIO/Educational Equity programs. 

Pacific Islands Chapter

The Pacific Islands Chapter of WESTOP represents 5 TRIO/Educational Equity programs that stretch across numerous time zones is a network of educational equity personnel that support the purpose and objective of the Western Association of Educational Opportunity Personnel (WESTOP).

Southern California Chapter (SoCal)

The SoCal Chapter is the largest chapter within WESTOP, accounting for approximately 41% of the associations membership. The SoCal Chapter has more than 200 members, representing over 36 educational opportunity programs in 20 different organizations, colleges, and universities across the southern California region. Chapter members are made up of dedicated professionals who are committed to the vision of the association.

Arizona Chapter
The Arizona Chapter of WESTOP represents 35 TRIO programs throughout the state. The Arizona Chapter is a network of members and institutions who are interested in furthering access to educational opportunities for economically and educationally disadvantaged persons and persons with disabilities. The Arizona Chapter promotes and coordinates professional development and student leadership development opportunities for individual and institutional members of WESTOP. The Arizona Chapter represent 36 TRIO/Educational Equity programs.
